A few weeks in Iraq with 4 RIFLES

So I recently went to Iraq. The last time I was there was in 2007 for OP TELIC 10. If you would have asked me back then If I could see myself back there I would have laughed.

I was in Al Asad Airbase west of Baghdad to cover 4 RIFLES on OP SHADER.

I spent two weeks there altogether covering everything from the Royal Engineers fitting out the new LAD, members of the BPC (Building Partnership Capacity) team training Iraqi soldiers in the fight against Daish and even a visit from the Secretay of State for Defence!
