So I won something in this years British Army Photographic competition 2016

October 25, 2016  •  5 Comments

So I entered few categories in this years British Army Photographic comp. This is the second time I have entered the annual phot comp in my four years as being a phot.

I entered some of my stuff into these categories- Portrait, Sport /Adventure Training, ‘Soldiering’, Telling a story Portfolio (4 photographs), Portfolio (6 photographs), Best Online Image voted by the public and Online short form video (Social Media). You could enter twice into each category.

As professional army phots we could enter into the pro category. If you were in the Army, Cadets or employed by the MOD you could enter into the amatuer catagory.

I only went and won the best portfolio category with this lot! This was my second of the two portfolios that I entered.

The portfolio was split into individual categories-

PR  Y Company, 1st Battalion The Royal Regiment of Fusiliers, based at Tidworth, Wiltshire, are conducting jungle warfare training in Brunei, learning to live, survive and fight in this unique training environment.

Some excellent clicks you have here.

Bravo!

It's hard to be a good photographer but harder to be a military photographer but it has its perks.

Love the work you do, keep on doing!
